Overriding parameters at a company level
Modified on Wed, 01 Mar 2023 at 11:37 AM
Once the task is linked to a Company, it is then possible to set different parameters for that task at a Company level where allowed. Your administrator can control this, so it may not be possible to override every parameter at a company level.
Go to:
1. Manage
2. Companies
3. Select a company
4. Go to the Task template tab for that company
In the example below, you can see the custom properties for the Review Receivables Report is in red, indicating the company level parameters have been overridden. The other two reports do not have custom properties.
Click on the custom properties, and you will see the information "i" in red. This is the custom override. In the example below, the Priority has been set differently to the task template for this company specific version of the task.
If you hover over it, you will see that the Priority has a different value set at the company level rather to the task template level.
In most situations, company level overrides are managed via the Task Export/Import feature. You can read more about this here.
