How to add an attachment to a task template
Modified on Thu, 02 Mar 2023 at 10:07 AM
This article will show you how to add an attachment to a closing task which can then either be simply copied into the Aico document the task is creating or used as an import template to pull data from the attachment into the Aico document headers and rows.
In Automation Manager, go to:
1. Manage
2. Task templates
3. Open the template to which you want to add the attachment.
Scroll to the very bottom of the task set-up page where you will find the attachments area and press add.
Click Choose files, select the file you want and press Upload, then Yes in the Save dialogue box that will appear.
Once the attachment is saved to the template, go back up to the Aico Document task parameters:
1. If you want to simply copy the attachments into the Aico document, click into the Copy attachments box.
You will see a list of all the attachments you have added.
Select the one(s) you want to copy across to the closing task.
2. To use an attachment as an import template, click into the Import Template box.
You will see a list of all the attachments you have added.
Press Save at the bottom of the page.
