Selecting documents in bulk
Modified on Thu, 17 Nov 2022 at 03:47 PM
Depending on your user role and document template settings, you may be able to perform workflow actions on multiple documents at once in list views.
For example, you can approve or complete many documents in bulk.
Actions on all list items in bulk
To either complete or approve all items in a list, tick the box (1).
Hover over the unordered list icon. A drop-down offering the option to complete or approve all (2) will appear. Click on the action you wish to take.
Actions on selected list items in bulk
Tick the check box (1) to the left of the items you want to select.
Once you have highlighted the specific documents you require, hover over the unordered list icon. A drop-down offering the option to complete or approve (2) will appear. Click on the action you wish to take.
Errors
If errors occur, you will see an error message. The document ID and a description of the error will be given in a popup. You cannot perform a bulk action on any document that requires a human action or selection to be performed in order for the workflow action to be completed. For example, If the document requires a comment to be added or the next approver in the workflow needs to be selected, it cannot be completed from the list view.
