Setting up the mail notification dashboard
Modified on Mon, 30 Jan 2023 at 03:23 PM
Mail notifications work in conjunction with filtered dashboard lists.
The first step is to create a shared dashboard containing the list or lists that you want to monitor.
For more information on setting up a new dashboard, read this article. Just remember to turn on the Shared view, highlighted below.
Use the filters behind each of the individual lists to control the content. See Dashboard Advanced Settings documentation for more detailed instructions on how to set filters.
1. Click the cogwheel in the top right corner of the individual list.
Click on either the cogwheel next to the filter to view/edit the filter (2) or use the + to add a new filter (3).
The Mail notification engine monitors these lists and can trigger notifications to be sent either:
- when the list content changes (for example, when a new journal is added)
- based on a schedule (such as a set time or day)
Next, go to the Message template set up article.
