Introducing task templates
Modified on Thu, 09 Feb 2023 at 04:02 PM
Each automated task performed by Aico is managed through Aico Automation Manager. These tasks are based on the settings within a task template that the task has been generated from. The task template controls how the task runs, when it runs and the information it includes.
Below is the basic Aico template:
Please note the following:
- The areas marked A are the details required that create the overarching structure of every Aico template. This is a static framework that will always look the same, regardless of the template.
- The contents of the area marked B, the Task parameters, could be made up of different sections, depending on the specific task type.
- The Aico Document Headers section will not appear until the specific document template has been selected in the Aico Document section.
The templates include information like:
- name
- description
- priority
- risk
- preparer name
- due date
- approval workflow
- schedule group
- companies to which the template is linked
- dependent tasks (predecessors and successors)
- attached instructions
- hyperlinks to external instructions
